The Mountain Ridge Academic Endowment fund was
established by parents, teachers, community members
and school administrators to support academic
achievement and excellence at Mountain Ridge High
School.
• The fund is part of the Allegany County Public Schools
Foundation. Donations to the foundation are tax
deductible.
• Committee members consisting of parents and teachers
from the Mountain Ridge community manage the fund.
• The endowment fund supports academic programs and
students by providing funding that enhances student
learning opportunities, such as:
•Field trips that enhance student
learning
•Technology equipment for the classroom and lab
•AP examination study guides and exams
•Support for the Arts
•Support for academic competitions & remediation
•Establishment of academic scholarships
•Specialty projects involving academics
The Endowment Fund
needs your support in accelerating learning through enhanced funding and
community participation.
